France Morin has been a member of the team since 2009 and a director since 2019. She specializes in technical design for envelope restauration and repairs, especially for old or heritage buildings. At the firm, France manages studies and technical expertise mandates. She is also a principal technical designer.
Rigorous and resourceful, her decision-making, negotiation, and mediation skills make her a well-liked team leader, who knows how to bring together clients, consultants, engineers, and technicians around the delivery of a project. For each mandate she and her team make sure that the results reach the established goals, while being perfectly aligned with applicable norms.
Since she joined the firm, France Morin has worked on many envelope evaluation and renovation projects for clients with major real estate: the former CHUM (Hôpital Notre-Dame, Hôtel-Dieu), UQAM, and several CIUSSS on the island of Montréal. Among these projects are the Restauration of the bell tower of Olier Pavilion at Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, or the renovation of the Pavillon Athanase-David’s stone façade at UQAM. With her expertise and her eye for detail she contributes, at the scale of each project, to the preservation of Québec’s built heritage.
