Récup+Reval : Furniture Enhancement Project
Alex Lamontagne, a member of our team with degrees in Design de l’environnement (UQAM) and architectural technology kickstarted Récup+Reval last fall, a project to restore two sets of chairs that were left unused after the expansion and refurbishing of our offices—relics from the firm’s past and design icons!
With the help of Lara Champagne, a designer specialized in the restoration of carefully curated second-hand objects (2e étage), they refinished 18 Prague chairs and 3 Lotus chairs in order to resell them. The proceeds will go to PROMIS, a non-profit organization supporting immigrants, refugees, and their families through each stage of their cultural, social, and professional integration.
Congratulations on this wonderful initiative!
