Two new directors in 2020
Congratulations to architects Mallory Mae Conway and Stéphanie Vallières, who will join the firm’s executive team in January 2020.
Mallory Mae Conway
The architect Mallory Conway joined Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes in 2018 with a lot of experience in the institutional and commercial fields. Very versatile, she manages projects which vary in complexity and scopes. Among others, she is a project manager for several refurbishment mandates at the Montréal-Trudeau international airport which intend to improve the experience of all users through modernized spaces, more efficient operations, and up-to-standards facilities in a context of complex and ever-changing regulations. Thanks to her many refurbishment projects, she knows how to compose with existing conditions, very restricted intervention spaces, and the specific needs of all stakeholders which are all priorities in the development of optimal solutions that respect the budget, the timeline, and the operations. As a director, she will, among other things, be involved in maintaining the firm's high-quality standards through the ISO 9001 certification.
Stéphanie Vallières
Stéphanie Vallière is an architect who started her career with the firm in 2012, while enrolled in her architecture baccalaureate and master's curriculum. Specialized in site supervision and construction contract management in the institutional field, Stéphanie has developed specific expertise for refurbishing projects in operating hospital environments. Managing this type of construction project is very complex as it requires excellent planning and stringent precautions to make sure construction works have the smallest impact possible on the establishment's activities and on the wellbeing of patients and personnel. Thorough, disciplined and hard-working, Stéphanie is well-liked by her colleagues, clients and the professionals with whom she collaborated for here organizational and communicational skills, as well as her capacity to create a trusting environment. As a director, one of her missions will be to improve collaborative practices within the firm between construction supervision specialists and the professionals who are involved in the conception and execution phases.
In January 2020, the firm's executive team will be composed of the six senior partners: Alain Boudrias, Michel Broz, Catherine Demers, Martine Gévry, Sylvain Morrier, and Nicolas Ranger; and of eleven directors: Julie Boucher, Lucie Bégin, Mallory Mae Conway, Réal Leblanc, Vincent Marcoux, France Morin, Scarlett Mount, Robert Sindon, Éole Sylvain, Stéphanie Vallières, and Dominic Zeppetini.
