With our best wishes for health and happiness this holiday season
The entire team at Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes wishes you happy holidays as well as health and happiness for 2026.
We would like to express our gratitude for the trust our clients place in us to carry out their projects. We also thank our collaborators and each member of our team for their commitment and creativity in designing quality architecture for the community—you are at the heart of our success!
Giving back to the community and to causes that are important to us
We marked the end of 2025 by launching the firm’s new sustainable development policy and by announcing our second consecutive year with a carbon-neutral balance sheet. On your behalf, we also made our large end-of-year donation to Nature-Action Québec (NAQ) and the Société pour la nature et les parcs – Quebec Chapter (SNAP Quebec), which each take concrete action in their own way to protect the environment, conserve natural areas, and preserve biodiversity.
As a corporate citizen committed to the community, we are also delighted to have supported several causes and organizations throughout the year, such as Moisson Montréal (250 hours donated), the International Festival of Films on Art, Héma-Québec (thank you to our donors), Le Phare, Enfants et Familles, Architecture Without Borders Quebec, Bâtiment durable Québec, Centraide of Grand Montreal, Make-A-Wish Canada, and Nouveaux voisins.
This year, we have also enthusiastically renewed our activities to support the next generation through awards, scholarships, and travel grants that highlight excellence. It has been a priority for the firm for decades to contribute to training new generations of architects, technologists, and architectural designers.

ISO 9001 certification renewed for the 27th consecutive year
The firm’s quality-control system is organized in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, a globally recognized management standard. By adhering to this standard, we demonstrate management capabilities and equip ourselves with tools to continuously improve processes, providing the best possible service to our clients within a framework of mutual trust and satisfaction.
Thank you to our team and to the individuals who were audited, who once again successfully carried out the required activities through their professional obligations.

Inauguration of major healthcare projects
On October 16, the new pavilion of the Verdun Hospital was inaugurated. It is the main component of the major expansion and modernization of the healthcare facility, designed in consortium with Menkès Shooner Dagenais LeTourneux Architects and Archi–. We were thrilled to meet with citizens and users at the open house organized by the hospital on November 26.
While awaiting the official opening of the Santa Cabrini Ospedale Hospital expansion, carried out in consortium with Provencher Roy and Archi–, the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal is offering an exceptional opportunity to visit the new operating room and medical device reprocessing unit through animations of a 3D model. Watch the videos to discover efficient clinical spaces designed for the wellbeing of patients and healthcare staff.
The CIUSSS de l’Estrie - CHUS began moving into the new Mother-Child and Emergency Centre (Pavillon Enfant Soleil) last summer, and in February 2026, patients will be welcomed to the new state-of-the-art facilities at Fleurimont Hospital. Thank you to the team and our consortium partners Équipe A and Yelle Maillé for this wonderful achievement!

Under construction
Restoration work has been underway since late summer for the construction of PHI Contemporain, the future home of the multidisciplinary art centre, a project carried out in consortium with Kuehn Malvezzi and Pelletier de Fontenay. The project showcases three heritage buildings in Old Montreal: the Maison Louis-Viger (circa 1765), the Maison Du Calvet (1770-1771), and the Maison-magasin Samuel-Davies (1833).
Construction is underway on the expansion of École secondaire Saint-Edmond in Greenfield Park (Longueuil), a neighbourhood school with a focus on music. Carried out in consortium with Smith Vigeant, the 5,000 m² project will provide new learning spaces and meeting places for the school’s 880 students.

About the card
Every year, a member of our team is invited to co-design our holiday greeting card: a tradition we cherish!
For the 2025 edition, architect Sarah Benzine proposed designing a card inspired by zines (or fanzines)—small, self-published, handmade publications with limited print runs—in collaboration with Marie-France Messier, Communications Manager.
The card combines our architect’s talent and independent practice as a collage artist with the firm’s heritage by featuring a photograph of Jeanne-Mance High School—a project completed in 1967.
