Hôpital Vaudreuil-Soulanges
Located on a 25-hectare site north of Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes and west of Autoroute 30 in Vaudreuil-Dorion, the hospital will comprise two pavilions linked by footbridges. It will have a total surface area of 132 340 m², currently making it the largest hospital project underway in Quebec and the thirty-second largest infrastructure project in Canada.
Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes works on the design, execution, and construction supervision of this large facility that will serve the population of the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Ouest, as part of the multidisciplinary team convened by contractor Pomerleau and in consortium with MSDL and Lemay.

The majority of outpatient services are in the four-storey pavilion to the east, grouped with support functions, the auditorium, reception spaces, and laboratories. The more critical care operations, namely the emergency department, operating theatre, medical imaging, and all care units (404 beds) are housed in the thirteen-storey pavilion to the west. Designed to the highest standards of quality in architecture and healthcare, the project aims to receive LEED v4 Building Design and Construction (BD+C) certification for healthcare, to become a model of a healthy, eco-responsible hospital. The facility will eventually employ approximately 4,000 people and 200 physicians. Several indoor and outdoor spaces will be dedicated to the wellbeing of staff.
To fast-track the completion of this major project while ensuring an integrated design, an office was set up in downtown Montréal, which brings together the entire project team, including the contractor, architects, engineers, and specialized consultants. All the strengths of the team are deployed to provide the best possible environment for both patients and healthcare staff.
