Refurbishment of our offices
In response to the strong growth of our team—which has doubled in just a few years—we carried out a three-phase modernization of our offices: the construction of a 516 m² extension to the east along Rachel Street, the interior redevelopment of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the former industrial building located across from the Angus workshops and acquired in the late 1970s, and the redevelopment of the ground floor.
This was an opportunity to redesign the space according to the team’s new needs and to further open it up in order to bring in as much natural light as possible. Providing a pleasant work environment that fosters creativity and staff well-being was a top priority, along with the use of natural materials, subdued colors, and streamlined layouts that highlight the exposed structure of the existing building.

As part of these redevelopment phases, the number of workstations was increased without reducing our standard dimensions, and the amenities offered to employees were significantly enhanced. Many elements were added or redesigned: a new reception area, a workshop dedicated to ideation and the creation of models and objects, a new materials library, glass-walled meeting rooms equipped for videoconferencing, and a barista station with a kitchenette.
The firm was committed to respecting the built heritage by minimizing its interventions and favoring simple, understated layouts that highlight the exposed structure of the former building—a vestige of the area’s industrial past.

The layout of a large open area on the ground floor offers multiple possibilities. Serving both as a flexible workspace and a gathering place, it features mobile unassigned workstations and a garage door for hosting events. A signature element, the wooden ceiling structure brings the space to life and suggests a focal point for gatherings. In addition to its acoustic properties and integration of lighting fixtures, it creates a warm and calming atmosphere. Echoing the firm’s identity program through its orthogonal grid and to the structure of the extension with its use of wood, its assembly details are also reminiscent of furniture designed and manufactured in-house several decades ago.
