Priscillia Champagne
OAQ
As a McGill University graduate with accreditations in LEED C+CB and WELL, Priscillia Champagne is committed to innovation and continuous improvement in design practice. Since joining the firm in 2015, she has developed expertise in both sustainable development and Building Information Modeling (BIM), and has worked on many of the firm’s major mandates, particularly in the healthcare sector.
Among other projects, Priscillia was BIM manager, LEED coordinator, and assistant project manager for Fleurimont Hospital’s Mother-Child and Emergency Centre, and she led the building life-cycle analysis and the expansion and redevelopment of Santa Cabrini Hospital’s operating room and the MDR unit. She also played a major role in the design and BIM management of both new Quebec City hospital complex's integrated cancer treatment centre, and Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital’s Raymond-Barcelo Integrated Dialysis Centre. Priscillia is valued for her rigorous work ethic and competency, which led her to work on the design of our office expansion, including an innovative structural solution—this qualified the project for the Technology Showcase Program for Buildings and Innovative Wood Solutions of the ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs.
As Director, and as head of the BIM committee and BIM manager, Priscillia’s mission is to supervise project teams and develop tools and processes to facilitate information access and optimize operations. And within the firm’s sustainable development committee, she is key to guiding teams toward solutions for decarbonizing the construction industry and to challenging the way buildings are constructed, with the aim to promote a more comprehensive and integrated global approach. Priscillia is involved in all stages of project design, including construction supervision, through which she optimizes Integrated Design Processes (IDP) by applying sustainable building knowledge and adapting BIM tools to the needs of each project.
