Since joining the firm in 2011, Stéphanie has devoted most of her practice to the design of hospital projects. Known for her rigour, professionalism, calm nature, people skills and remarkable memory, she demonstrates natural leadership in team management. Driven by a commitment to designing high-quality architecture that is both highly functional and firmly centred on the well-being of patients and healthcare staff, she contributes meaningfully to the enrichment and continuity of one of this major area of expertise within the firm.
Over the past years, Stéphanie has gradually taken on significant responsibilities for major, complex projects. After participating in the design of the Regional Integrated Cancer Centre at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Lévis, the Raymond-Barcelo Integrated Dialysis Centre at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, and the Integrated cancer treatment centre of the CHU de Québec-Université Laval, she was responsible for planning clinical functional units, workshops, and specialized equipment, she oversaw quality control for interior design, and she co-led the teams for the major expansion and modernization of the Verdun Hospital. She was also the clinical planning manager of the operating room, medical device reprocessing unit (MDRU), dialysis unit, and outpatient medical-surgical clinic for the future Peter Gilgan Hospital in Mississauga.
Stéphanie is responsible for planning outpatient clinics—including the sleep clinic, audiology, respiratory function testing, neurosurgery, and orthopedics—for the new Ottawa Hospital campus and is co-project manager for the modernization of the Institut national de psychiatrie légale Philippe-Pinel. Within Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes, she is part of the project management committee, which oversees the development of tools and best practices to support the work of the firm’s project managers.
