With nearly 20 years of experience, the architect Tanya De Bellefeuille has been involved in healthcare projects since her early years with the firm. Now specialized in this field, she develops large-scale hospital projects in close collaboration with clients and users to find the best balance between needs and constraints. With each project she has perfected her analytic skills and planning tools for a global vision of the challenges large-scale projects face. The experience she has acquired within large multidisciplinary teams has largely contributed to broaden her understanding of interdisciplinary work dynamics and of the ever-evolving needs of the healthcare field.
Involved in the design, planning, and execution of clinical units and in the integration of biomedical equipment in the last phase of the new CHUM hospital complex in downtown Montreal, she was also responsible for the review and compliance monitoring for the major expansion and modernization project "Growing Up Healthy" at CHU Sainte-Justine, and in charge of planning the intensive care units of the Critical Care Pavilion of the Jewish General Hospital.
