Marc-Antoine Bourbeau
OAQ
A graduate of Université de Montréal, Marc-Antoine Bourbeau joined Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes in 2016. After gaining a breadth of experience in institutional projects, he oriented his career toward site supervision and administration, one of the firm’s recognized fields of expertise. In particular, he supervised with proactivity and rigor the construction of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital’s Raymond-Barcelo Integrated Dialysis Centre and the Metamorphosis of the Montréal Insectarium, both large-scale and complex projects to execute. Marc-Antoine is always in “solution mode,” resolving with great efficiency any issues encountered on site. This is a crucial stage in architecture, where the quality of the services rendered is essential to the success of a project and to the respect of the design concept through to delivery.
Marc-Antoine is currently responsible for the site supervision and administration of the expansion and redevelopment of the operating room and the medical device reprocessing (MDR) unit at Santa Cabrini Hospital, a 12,100 m² project striving for LEED v4 certification. As Director, his responsibilities include improving practices and processes between the design and execution phases and the construction supervision phase; developing work tools; and advising the next generation.
