With the firm since 2007, architect Marie-Michèle Larocque has been appointed director in 2021. Both project manager and designer, she devotes her practice to the institutional fields of healthcare and education. She has developed particular expertise in the delicate and complex integration of specialized medical equipment, as well as a great ability to synthesize technically demanding programs to create refined, minimalist environments conducive to calm. She has a thorough grasp of healthcare design standards and ensures that every decision is viable in terms of the requirements dictated by equipment, infection control and departmental configuration.
She was the lead designer and assistant project manager for the Centre de radio-oncologie régional at the Hôpital de Rouyn-Noranda, assistant designer for the École secondaire de la Nouvelle-Ère in Gatineau, as well as assistant designer and responsible for the production of plans and specifications for the Raymond-Barcelo Dialysis Centre of the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont.
