As a senior partner since 2011, Sylvain Morrier is responsible for site supervision and administration, executing technically demanding projects, and human resources. He also leads the technical steering committee, comprised of the technical directors, which develops, improves, and maintains the firm’s standards, while supporting and advising the next generation.
Sylvain masters construction management and administrative processes to avoid delaying the contractor’s work, by being highly efficient, always identifying solutions, and looking out for the best long-term strategies. He oversees construction quality with the utmost rigour, ensuring that the design, schedule, and budget are respected right through to project delivery. And his proactive approach to working with contractors means that the technical requirements of building plans and specifications are met.
He is particularly skilled at balancing priorities and managing fast-track projects, which has allowed him to develop expertise in complex healthcare, research, and education projects that are constructed on occupied sites through phases. He has extensive knowledge of hospital standards, finishes, and the best construction methods for achieving high-quality products.
