Appointment of Six New Directors
To mark the new year, Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes is pleased to announce the appointment of architects Marc-Antoine Bourbeau, Priscillia Champagne, Stéphanie Girardeau, Simon Tremblay, and Hélène Vallée as Directors, and of senior architectural technologist Charles-André Gagnon as Technical Director. Adding these new directors to the management team enables the firm to broaden its areas of expertise and to enhance its structure, two decisive factors in meeting the challenges ahead.
About the Architects Directors
In addition to their distinct expertise and complementary profiles, and to the key roles they play in projects and in mentoring the next generation, the Architects Directors also sit on the project steering committee with the senior partners. This committee oversees and coordinates all activities related to the provision of professional services, and ensures that projects run smoothly.
Marc-Antoine Bourbeau
Architect, Director, Site Supervision and Administration

A graduate of Université de Montréal, Marc-Antoine Bourbeau joined Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes in 2016. After gaining a breadth of experience in institutional projects, he oriented his career toward site supervision and administration, one of the firm’s recognized fields of expertise. In particular, he supervised with proactivity and rigor the construction of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital’s Raymond-Barcelo Integrated Dialysis Centre and the Metamorphosis of the Montréal Insectarium, both large-scale and complex projects to execute. Marc-Antoine is always in “solution mode,” resolving with great efficiency any issues encountered on site. This is a crucial stage in architecture, where the quality of the services rendered is essential to the success of a project and to the respect of the design concept through to delivery.

Priscillia Champagne
Architect, Director

As a McGill University graduate with accreditations in LEED C+CB and WELL, Priscillia Champagne is committed to innovation and continuous improvement in design practice. Since joining the firm in 2015, she has developed expertise in both sustainable development and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Among other projects, Priscillia was BIM manager, LEED coordinator, and assistant project manager for Fleurimont Hospital’s Mother-Child and Emergency Centre and played a major role in the design and BIM management of CHU de Québec-Université Laval’s Integrated Cancer Treatment Centre and of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital’s Raymond-Barcelo Integrated Dialysis Centre. Priscillia is valued for her rigorous work ethic and competency, which led her to work on the design of our office expansion, including an innovative structural solution—this qualified the project for the Technology Showcase Program for Buildings and Innovative Wood Solutions of the ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs.
Stéphanie Girardeau

Stéphanie Girardeau is a versatile, committed, rigorous, and motivated architect, acting as a project manager and interdisciplinary coordinator, particularly in the healthcare field. She has been involved in an impressive number of projects of all scales since joining the firm in 2010. Among her major achievements are the technical proposal for the new Maison Radio-Canada; the redesign of Ubisoft Montréal’s offices; the Regional Cancer Treatment Centre at Rouyn-Noranda Hospital; and Integrated cancer treatment centre of the CHU de Québec-Université Laval. As a designer for clinical settings, Stéphanie is experienced in redeveloping entire departments or specialized wards of existing hospitals. By focusing on patient wellbeing, her approach skillfully reconciles the clinical needs of patients with the technical requirements of such projects.
Simon Tremblay

Simon Tremblay is a highly versatile architect, appreciated for his dynamism, professionalism, boundless energy, and design and project management skills. He has been with the firm since 2011, working primarily on large-scale projects in the transportation and healthcare sectors. His skills in the planning and design of clinical projects, notably for the expansion and modernization of the Montreal Heart Institute, earned him praise from Dr. Alain Vadeboncoeur, former head of the Montreal Heart Institute’s Department of Emergency Medicine. Through his “Sustainability Professional” certification from Envision—a normative framework adapted to transportation infrastructure projects—and his role in the firm’s sustainable development committee, Simon contributes to developing resilient infrastructure that aims for high environmental efficiency.
Hélène Vallée

Hélène Vallée joined the firm in 2015 with nearly thirty years of experience and an expertise in institutional architecture. She is a rigorous architect with a keen analytical mind, working primarily as a project manager in the fields of transportation, education, and healthcare. In recent years, Hélène has developed her expertise in executing large-scale projects in the field of transportation by joining the Bureau de projets prolongements et grands projets métro, dont la mission principale est le prolongement de la ligne bleue et toutes les composantes s’y rattachant. C’est également à titre de chargée de projet qu’elle œuvre à la réalisation des installations de Construction de Défense Canada qui accueilleront les nouveaux avions chasseurs à la base militaire de Bagotville. Given the increasing complexity of projects today, her great versatility and diversified practical experience are a considerable asset to the firm.
About the Technical Directors
Since the firm’s founding, Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes has been recognized for the rigorous approach of its professionals and the depth of their technical knowledge, which is highly valued by the firm. To reflect this, the position of Technical Director was created in 2022 and a technical steering committee was set up to oversee the development, improvement, and continuity of technical standards, as well as to support and guide the next generation of architects.
Charles-André Gagnon
Senior Architectural Technologist
Technical Director
Recognized for his competence, calm, and professionalism, Charles-André has extensive experience in the technical design of the building envelope, as well as in supervising teams in the production of working drawings. With the firm since 2005, he has worked on numerous redevelopment, renovation, and expansion projects at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, such as the expansion of the international pier, which received LEED Silver certification in 2017. His career highlights include the housing for the Grey Nuns of Montréal; Hydro-Québec’s 315/25-kV Bélanger Substation; Montréal métro’s Côte-Vertu underground garage and access buildings; and the critical care pavilion at the new hospital complex in Québec City.
